Dr. James Dundas
Education
Dr. Dundas was born outside of Detroit, Michigan and received his DVM degree from Michigan State University in 1998.
Internships
After a one-year rotating internship at the University of Pennsylvania, he moved to Rochester, New York for a one-year internship dedicated to veterinary surgery. From there he moved to a temporary research position at Texas A&M University.
Residency
In 2001 Dr. Dundas then moved to Saskatoon to begin a three-year surgical residency at the University of Saskatchewan. This surgical training program was completed in 2004.
Professional Experience
Dr. Dundas has worked in private practice since completing his residency, first in the very busy western suburbs of Chicago and most recently outside of Aspen, Colorado.
Professional Associations
Dr. Dundas passed the certification exam given by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2006, thus becoming a diplomate of the college and a board-certified veterinary surgeon.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Dundas has an interest in reconstructive / oncologic soft tissue surgery, though he is familiar with a wide range of orthopedic and neurologic surgical procedures as well as soft tissue surgeries.
