Dr. Noel Moens
Education
Dr. Moens grew up in Belgium and obtained his Veterinary degree from the University of Liege in 1991.
He worked as an Assistant in orthopaedic surgery at The University of Liege before starting his residency in small animal surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon in 1994.
He earned his Master of Science at the University of Saskatchewan and became Diplomate of the American College and the European College of Veterinary Surgery in 1999.
Experience
From 1997 to 2000, he was assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the Atlantic Veterinary College on the beautiful Prince Edward Island.
He joined the Ontario Veterinary College in 2000 and presently holds the title of Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Guelph.
Interests and Associations
Dr. Moens main interest is in orthopaedic surgery and he is an active member of the AO North America. He provides continuing education in the field of orthopaedics throughout the world.
Appointments
Dr. Moens is available for surgery on a part time basis during his sabbatical.
