Q: How do I book an appointment for physical rehabilitation or acupuncture for my pet?
A: All appointments are by referral only, so please see your regular veterinarian first.
Q: How long will an initial appointment take?
A: Initial visits for physical rehabilitation take about an hour. In the initial assessment, baseline measurements, such as joint "range of motion" angles ("goniometry") and limb circumferences may be required. Also, animals presenting for physical rehabilitation may also benefit from acupuncture techniques and vice versa. During the initial appointment all available options will be presented for your pet.
Q: Should I bring my own towels to dry off my dog?
A: To help us reduce our environmental impact with excess laundry, please bring your own clean towel.
Q: Can cats receive physical rehabilitation?
A: Cats can certainly benefit from physical rehabilitation. Just as the temperament of each cat is different, so is their tolerance for treatments. Each cat will be assessed individually as to their suitability to receive treatments.
